World Mental Health Day October 10th
Research shows that there are many things we can do to keep healthy. Some of the same things we do to keep our bodies healthy will benefit our minds. This includes being physically active. You could take a walk, join the local fitness center, sign up for a meditation or Tai Chi class, or participate in a swim club. Being physically active at least 3 times per week will help reduce your stress and promote emotional well-being
Eating healthy also benefits both mind and body. Eat your vegetables!
Being socially active is also helpful. Research shows that having someone to talk to can help reduce stress & help you put problems into perspective. Become connected with your community by volunteering or signing on for community education classes.
