Jennifer returned to school in 2016 to begin a career in social work after working in medical sales for 10 years. She has experience working with LGBTQIA individuals and groups, women and children experiencing domestic violence and substance use disorders. Jennifer has a passion for women’s issues and recently started researching the use of video games to connect with youth and adolescents.

Ruth enjoys working with all ages.  She has experience working with survivors of trauma as well as domestic and sexual violence.  Ruth also has experience working with a wide array of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety and relationship/family issues.

Tracey Little MA, LPC

Tracy (they/them) is an outpatient therapist at List’s Bay City location. They incorporate Person Centered Therapy and Feminist therapy approach in treatment, with a special focus on the intersectional identify of each client. They have over five years’ experience working with LGBT!/queer individuals, as well as adolescent and adult clients with co-occurring mental health disorders, chronic mental illness, trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Megan Smith LPC, CAADC, DP-S

Megan is the Bay City Site Supervisor. She incorporates Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy and provides a specific and person-centered approach to her treatment of clients. Megan believes that each specific client goal is relevant to their journey in therapy, and fosters an accommodating, empathetic, yet motivational therapeutic relationship with her clients. Megan has over five years of experience working with clients experiencing substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health disorders, trauma, criminal backgrounds, anxiety, depression, trauma, codependency, and other family and relationship needs, as well as working with individuals who are simply curious to decide whether therapy is the right path.

Kaitlyn utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral strategies to treat a range of disorders in both adults and children. She has experience working with people with developmental disabilities, children and teenagers with behavioral issues and adults with depression, anxiety and other severe mental illnesses . Kaitlyn takes a collaborative approach to working with clients in order to focus on their strength’s. She is passionate about helping others incorporate mindfulness and motivation into their everyday lives. Other treatment modalities include Solution- Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Julie Raymond CAADC

Substance Use Disorder Counselor:

Julie has experience using cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy to treat a variety of substance abuse, mood, and cooccurring disorders. She has experience working with adults 18 and older, both men and women, and individuals involved in the legal system. Julie is interested in pursuing and developing programs that aid in preparing individuals for long-term successful recovery by teaching basic independent living and home economic skills in Bay City and surrounding areas

Todd Butterfield, LLMSW, CADC- Therapist: Todd has experience using cognitive behavioral treatment methods to treat various mood, substance use, anxiety, and co-occurring disorders. Mallory, CAADC-DP, has experience working with diverse individuals facing various issues, such as anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, emotional regulation, severe and persistent mental health needs, communication and organization needs, relationship issues, and recovery from substance use. Mallory strives to provide a non-judgmental, safe space for clients to openly talk about whatever is on their mind. Barbara Maldonado CPRM, CAADC

Barabara, MA, CADC-SUD counselor and recovery coach: I have lived experience with SUD, which enable me to relate to adult male and female clients and recoveree who are working toward living a healthier lifestyle, free from all mood-altering substances. I use CBT, MI, and OARS treatment methods to help stabilize persons with SUD. I support recoverees in the community by taking them to sob er events and meetings. By doing this they will learn how to socialize in a group setting and how to break the pattern of isolation. I believe where there is breath, there is hope.
