Gloria has worked in Child Welfare and financial assistance to families receiving state-approved programs in 5 counties for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. She initially began her career in Tuscola County. Gloria also served administrative roles as supervisor, program manager, and acting county director.
Gloria worked as a Middle School Counselor at Marlette Middle School and in Lapeer at Zemmer Middle School and Rolland Warner Middle School.
Gloria taught the Love and Logic Parenting Programs for more than 25 years. She also continues to teach courses to early childhood providers and educational staff -from bus drivers, teachers, classroom aides, and administrators. Gloria teaches about brain development, trauma, resiliency, strengthening families, and Polyvagal Theory (Autonomic Nervous System). Gloria recently completed an 11-month cohort from Butler University on Applied Educational Neuroscience.

Special Interests:
Parent- child relationships- assisting adults understanding child development. Interested in assisting children understand their brain- body connections and how it impacts the relational, social, emotional and physiological well-being.
